Serbian police (MUP) officers today arrested four suspects on drug smuggling and illegal arms possession charges. The Beli Potok raid ended in the arrests of one Montenegrin citizen – Semir Dedeic – and Serbians Mile Radevic, Dragan Radevic and Miodrag Radevic. MUP cuts drug trafficking route Officers also confiscated 3.5 kilograms of heroin and seven kilograms of a caffeine-paracetamol mixture. MUP said in a statement in Belgrade on Wednesday that this raid cut a drug trafficking route organized by narco-boss Safet Kalic, of Rozaje, Montenegro, while the value of the seized drugs is estimated at EUR 200,000. Eight different firearms were confiscated, along with 206 bullets, and an unspecified amount of money the group is suspected to have gained through illegal activities. Five vehicles in possession of the suspects have also been temporarily seized, the statement added. Edis Rebronja, a Montenegrin citizen, remains at large, and MUP officers are searching for him in connection to the same case.
