The Kosovo Police Service has filed charges against an Albanian youth for attacking his 80-year old Serb neighbor. KPS spokesman in Gnjilane Ismet Hashani told the Beta news agency that the incident had taken place on Monday, when, according to witnesses, the Serb, S.Z., had let his livestock graze on the property of Albanian B.Z.’s family in the village of Novi Draganac. He was then taken back home and “did not ask for further medical assistance,” the spokesman said. “The case was completed today and referred to the court,” Hashani said, adding that the police had filed charges against the Albanian for breach of the peace, and that the courts would get to the bottom of the incident.
