The Serbian football association, FSS, President Zvezdan Terzic has resigned today. Serbian police, MUP, last week issued a warrant for his arrest, marking him a suspect in a player transfer scandal. Beleaguered FA chief resigns Terzic, who has been out of the country for months, is believed to have in 1998 illegally gained 1.1mn Deutsche marks, when he was an OKF Beograd football club executive. Terzic today notified the FSS in a letter that, "due to specific circumstances", he was resigning his post as the association's president.
