BELGRADE President Tomislav Nikolic, PM Ivica Dacic and his deputy, Aleksandar Vucic will on Monday in Belgrade have separate meetings with a delegation of Gazprom. This was announced by the Serbian president’s press office. Top state officials to hold meetings with Gazprom CEO The Gazprom delegation is headed by CEO Alexey Miller, and the meetings will touch on the construction of the South Stream pipeline section through Serbia, which should start in December 2013, "and other important matters." Dacic said on Sunday that it was put forward that the construction works begin on November 24, adding that the project, which will cost about EUR 5 billion, will in the beginning be financed by the Russians. Dacic said that the project is very important for Serbia’s economy. Nikolic will receive the Gazprom delegation at the General Secretariat of the President.
