Mirko Cvetkovic says there are no significant differences between his cabinet and the IMF regarding the implementation of a precautionary stand-by arrangement. There are some differences over the guarantees for certain borrowing planned by the Serbian government, the prime minister said in a talk show broadcast on Belgrade-based Prva TV. Five guarantees should be issued, while three are supposed to be realized, said Cvetkovic. The talks between the Serbian government representatives and the IMF mission began in Belgrade on February 2 and should end on February 9. During the talks, special attention will be given to budget execution in 2012 and the implementation of agreed fiscal policy measures, as well as to compliance with established fiscal policies.
