The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) sold EUR 20mn in the foreign exchange market on Tuesday. This came in order to prevent excessive daily exchange rate fluctuation, the central bank has stated. C. bank sells EUR 20mn to prop dinar Tuesday's indicative exchange rate amounted to RSD 102.8302 for one euro. Since the beginning of the year, the NBS has sold EUR 876.5mn, including the yesterday's intervention. On Tuesday, for the sixth day in a row, the Serbian dinar continued to weaken against euro. The Serbian currency reached its highest value this year on January 4, when the official exchange rate was RSD 95.97 for one euro.

Tuesday's indicative exchange rate amounted to RSD 102.8302 for one euro.

Since the beginning of the year, the NBS has sold EUR 876.5mn, including the yesterday's intervention.

On Tuesday, for the sixth day in a row, the Serbian dinar continued to weaken against euro.

The Serbian currency reached its highest value this year on January 4, when the official exchange rate was RSD 95.97 for one euro.
