Workers of the Knjaz Milos mineral water and beverages factory in Arandjelovac have gone on a general strike this morning. This comes after five one-hour warning strikes, reports from the central Serbian town said. Strike at mineral water factory The strike was called after failed negotiations with the management, aimed at preventing the sacking of 106 workers. Serbia's leading mineral water manufacturer is owned by Danube Foods Group. All 800 workers are also demanding an increase in wages for those tasked with performing menial jobs, and they want the owner to honor the so-called collective agreement.
