Government sources have confirmed on Wednesday that a visit by a Gazprom delegation has been postponed. Beta news agency said that no further details as to the reasons for this were avaible from the Energy Ministry officials. A working group made up of representatives of the two companies was to launch talks on the issue. At the same time, delegations from Gazprom and Srbijagas in Novi Sad have agreed on a plan to formulate a draft study on construction of the South Stream pipeline through Serbia, and also discussed the potential volume of gas that could be delivered. An agreement has been reached for a feasibility study for Serbia to be an integral part of the General Feasibility Study for the whole South Stream project, covering the territory of Russia, the Black Sea, as well as the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The two sides agreed for the next meeting to take place in Moscow in November.

Earlier, reports said that Russian gas and oil giant Gazprom representatives were arriving in Belgrade today to discuss technical implementation of the strategic Russo-Serbian energy deal.
