NBS: Interim deal to bring big benefits Jelasic said that implementation of the Interim Trade Agreement with the EU and the arrangement with the IMF, which require a responsible fiscal policy, would enable Serbia to “improve its rating and honor its pre-election promises.” "What it means is higher pensions and salaries, tax reductions, additional subsidies for agriculture, construction of new apartments, as well as higher welfare benefits for pregnant women and the unemployed,” Jelasic said during a presentation of educational financial guides for citizens yesterday. NBS Deputy Governor Mira Eric said that the six new guides and 13 calculators focused on everyday life with the aim of helping citizens reach decisions regarding financial matters. The guides will help citizens when making financial decisions concerning education, employment, car purchase, property and family planning.
