The value of the Serbian IT market has increased 37 percent last year and is now at EUR 460mn. This is contained in the latest report from Mineco researchers, which adds that the domestic market is still dominated by IT equipment, with a 69 percent share, followed by services, with 20 percent, while software stands at only 11 percent. Over 368,000 desktop computers were sold in Serbia in 2007, with 70 percent of these assembled in the country. At the same time, the sales of portable computers reached the 77,000 mark – double the result from 2006.
