Government approves Information Silk Road platform

The adoption of this proposal marks a successful continuation of the project One Belt, One Road, in which Serbia participates and which enables cooperation between the two countries in the fields of economy, infrastructure, education and science, a statement posted on the government's website said.

Last year, the memorandum on the development of the Informational Silk Road for information connectivity was signed, which provides a secure basis for the improvement of bilateral relations and the strengthening of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

There are also ongoing meetings of delegations of Serbia and China, which deal with the activities on the implementation of the Memorandum related to cooperation in the fields of smart cities, electronic trade, and online tourism, the statement said.
