Jordan condemns Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain
Jordan has condemned Iranian attacks on civilian targets in Bahrain and Kuwait, including strikes that reportedly hit Kuwait International Airport, saying they violate international law and the UN Charter.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the attacks threaten the security and territorial integrity of both Gulf states.
Jordan expressed solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait, and said it supports the measures they are taking to protect their sovereignty and citizens. It also offered condolences to Kuwait over one reported death caused by the attacks and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
Trump threatens: “We haven’t put everything on the ground. You don’t want to do that”
US President Donald Trump said that the United States does not need ground troops against Iran, claiming that bombing has destroyed a large part of its military capabilities.
“We don’t need boots on the ground. We destroyed a large part of their military just with bombing. We haven’t put everything on the ground. You don’t want to do that,” Trump said in an interview for Pod Force One released on Wednesday.
Trump added that the situation is “developing quickly” and moving in a positive direction.
“They will not have nuclear weapons, and many other good things will happen,” he said.
Trump says US gas prices will fall when Iran war ends
President Donald Trump said that gas prices in the United States will drop once the conflict in Iran is over, adding that inflation is currently not “very high.”
“We don’t really have high inflation. Look, if you take out the price of gasoline and energy, we have very low inflation,” Trump said in an interview for Pod Force One.
