Is Britain entering the war? "Typhoons" and F-35s deployed PHOTO/VIDEO
British Justice Secretary David Lammy stated that the country has deployed additional military forces to Cyprus, including Typhoon and F-35 aircraft, to strengthen air defense in the region.
Lammy confirmed that an additional 400 troops have been sent to Cyprus, including those responsible for protecting the skies over the island, and noted that France, Germany, and other countries have also deployed ships to ensure security in the region, BBC reported.
Cyprus, in general, represents a key location for military security, especially for the British bases on the island.
Asked why the warship HMS Dragon will not arrive for several more ‘weeks,’ Lammy explained that the UK already has air support safeguarding security in the region, while HMS Dragon will reinforce the presence in the coming days.

- Iranians attack? Explosion at British base in Cyprus
The United Kingdom began deploying its forces to Cyprus back in January and February to prepare for rising geopolitical tensions in the region.
However, the Royal Navy base came under fire from Iranian missiles, and only after that did the United Kingdom decide to send the destroyer HMS Dragon to Cyprus, drawing criticism from Cypriot officials.
On the other hand, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, responding to statements from Germany, France, and the United Kingdom about ‘defensive actions’ against Iranian missiles launched at their bases, said that this amounts to a declaration of war.
