12 of Epstein's victims confronted Trump: 'Why is there no investigation?!'
A total of 12 surviving victims of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein attended U.S. President Donald Trump's State of the Union address today in the House of Representatives chamber in Washington.
"Why aren’t there investigations when there are so many people in these files who need to be looked into? Why is the FBI director having fun like a student when he should be investigating a massive criminal enterprise? This administration needs to do better", Bensky said.
Bensky, who attended U.S. President Donald Trump's State of the Union address at the invitation of Senate Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, said that Epstein abused her in 2004 and 2005, after she met him at age 17.
"I was looking for an adult to protect me from those who seemed like monsters, only to discover that the monster had been him all along", Bensky said.
She added that she seeks help from the government, but that they ‘aren’t any better’ and ‘gaslight victims,’ meaning they manipulate and confuse them, using the same tactic, according to her, as Jeffrey Epstein and his imprisoned assistant Ghislaine Maxwell.
Democratic and Republican congress members, as well as the victims, previously criticized the Department of Justice for delaying the release of files related to the Epstein case, as well as for redacting certain names and information about the victims.
“Instead of apologizing for this failure, this Department of Justice has doubled down on denial and distraction,” said another Epstein abuse survivor, Annie Farmer, who attended Trump’s State of the Union address as a guest of Democratic Congressman Robert Garcia from California.
Farmer also criticized the FBI for “not following up” on her sister Maria Farmer’s 1996 report about Epstein, Maxwell, and their associates.
“We are tired of games. When those we elect abuse their positions, it harms all of us. We are here to remind our elected leaders and other Americans that there is always a choice. You can sit idly by and watch the abuse of power, as many wealthy, educated, connected individuals did in the Epstein case, or you can do the right thing, be brave,” Farmer said.
