The trial exam of the junior high school graduation is postponed

The announcement of the Ministry of Education is transmitted in its entirety:

"Eighth grade students will take the mathematics test on Friday, April 25, 2025, while the test in Serbian, i.e. the mother tongue, as well as the test in the subject of the students' choice, will be taken in the period from April 22 to 30, 2025, in the manner and at the time determined by the school," the Ministry stated.

It is reminded that, according to the Rulebook on the educational work calendar, the trial final exam was supposed to be held on March 21 and 22, 2025.

"The implementation of the trial final exam according to the above-mentioned model ensures the achievement of the goals of the trial final exam, which is that through a true simulation of the final exam process, the students become familiar with the established procedures (arrival time, necessary equipment, procedures and rules before, during and after the final exam, organization of space and work, roles of the head of department, teachers on duty, supervisors, etc.), as well as for students and teachers to see how ready they are for the final exam and what they need to work on in the coming period," he states.

The submission of a request to change the data on the eighth grade student's declaration of which subject they will take the third test on the final exam and making corrections (directly at school) is scheduled for the period from April 7 to 10, 2025.

On Friday, April 11, 2025, from 8:00 a.m., the final declaration of eighth-grade students in which subject they will take the third test on the final exam will be published (on the Moja srednja škola portal and directly at school).

On Friday, April 25, 2025, participants of the Functional Basic Education for Adults will take a unique test that contains questions and tasks from the subjects of the Serbian language, i.e. the mother tongue, from the subjects of mathematics and from the natural and social sciences, which include content from the subjects of biology, geography, history, physics and chemistry, the press release points out.

Bearing in mind the importance of quality preparation for the final exam, support for students, in addition to the preparatory classes organized by the school, is also provided in the form of task collections prepared by the Institute for the Evaluation of the Quality of Education and Training. Also, on the website of the Institute for Evaluation of the Quality of Education and Training, there are final exam tests from previous years.

Students can also practice and check their knowledge on the eVežbaonica portal, where there are more than 4,200 tasks of varying level of difficulty.

Collections of tasks and eExercises also contain tasks in eight languages ​​of national minorities (Albanian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Romanian, Ruthenian, Slovak or Croatian) for students who attend classes in the language and script of the national minority.

Also, on RTS Planeta, on the Moja škola sub-site, classes have been posted that students can use to prepare for the final exam.
