Sergey Lavrov said that the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is interested in expanding the scope of cooperation with friendly countries, including in the status of observers and partners, among which, along parliamentary lines, is also Serbia, Sputnik reports.
“It seems to me that it is very important for these ties to be maintained and strengthened. Because Serbia is also on the front line, on the line of the struggle for national independence, and is facing direct demands from bureaucrats in Brussels to adopt an anti-Russian policy, and even to send its troops into that bloc, which they are threatening to form against our country,” Lavrov emphasized.
Earlier today, he warned that due to the crisis within NATO, the West could form a new bloc with the participation of Ukraine.
