Is the conflict finally over?; "The agreement will be signed today"

Trump told "Fox News" that the agreement with Iran will be signed today in Pakistan, following up on an earlier interview with the "New York Post" in which he said that JD Vance and the American delegation were on their way to Islamabad for negotiations.

The US president previously said in an interview with the "New York Post" that he is ready to meet with Iran's top leaders if progress is made in the negotiations. He added that JD Vance, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner and the US negotiating team are on their way to Islamabad, where they should arrive within hours.

"There should be a dialogue with Iran, so I guess nobody is playing games at this stage," Trump said.

He emphasized that the negotiations have one key and unquestionable demand: Iran must give up its possession of nuclear weapons.

On the other hand, Iran is reconsidering its decision to withdraw from the proposed second round of direct peace talks with the US, a senior Iranian official told Reuters. The source praised Pakistan's "positive" efforts in trying to end the US naval blockade of ships entering and leaving Iranian ports, the agency reported.
