Vučić from Sofia: "We must preserve peace; The time we live in is the most complex for the last 50-60 years"
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vućić, spoke from Sofia.
"I had long talks with Milanović and Milatović, as well as the presidents of Croatia and Slovenia, I also met with King Abdullah II. It would be important for us that Bulgaria attends EXPO 2027. As for security issues, in the conditions of complete geopolitical manipulation, of course we have problems, look at the situation in BiH and Republika Srpska, the decision of Germany and Austria to ban the entry of the president of the RS Dodik, Višković and Stevandić, the relations between Belgrade and Pristina, and many other things which are not so clear, to the fact that the global order with the new taxes changes things, the relationship between Russia and Ukraine... Every word has become a subject of examination and consideration, the role of our country is extremely important. That is why peace and stability are important to us. The time we live in is the most complicated in the last 50-60 years," said Vučić.
"It is forbidden to wear a tie at meetings here, for reasons unknown to me," he added.
"We will have our own questions, the most important thing is to preserve peace and stability and to see how we will move forward," he pointed out.
Trump's tariffs were calculated according to a strange formula, he said.
"They calculate the level of commodity exchange and say that Serbia has a surplus of 600 million. He divides that 600 million by the total trade exchange and then says that it is 74% and divided by two it is 37%. It is strange for many reasons, but I am sure that we will be able to discuss it with our American partners and Donald Trump," said Vučić.
He is convinced that we will solve the problem in the next three months.
When it comes to the election of the Prime Minister designate, he points out that there is a dilemma in the SNS between two candidates.
One is party, and the other is non-party candidate, he stated.
He expects them to inform him of the decision tomorrow evening, and the day after tomorrow to make a final decision.
"After that, convinced that they have a majority, I will inform the public who is our PM designate, and then he has ten days to propose a new government and for it to be elected. I hope that it won't have to be 18, on Good Friday," he said.
He points out that he is always happy when SSP leader Dragan Djilas attacks his family.
"I am especially happy when, starting from himself, he thinks that everyone else is a thug, and it is especially important to me when he talks about who my political idols are, and then states that I replaced them," said Vučić and said that this is a contradiction.
He emphasizes that he has not replaced anyone, and that it would be good if some people had a little more respect for their wives, children and other people's families, "all the things they never had".
"I'm proud that I've always tried to be attentive to all members of my family, and I'm hardly the best dad in the world, but I try to make the time I spend with them nice," said the President of Serbia.
The President of Serbia arrived in Sofia today for a two-day visit to Bulgaria.
During his stay, President Vučić will participate in a meeting of heads of state and government within the framework of the Aqaba process dedicated to the Balkans.
Also, Vučić will have a number of bilateral meetings with officials, including the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and King Abdullah II of Jordan.
