The new government could be smaller; The name of Prime Minister Designate may come as a surprise
Prime Minister of Serbia in a technical mandate and leader of Serbian Progressive Party, Miloš Vučević, said that SNS will go to consultations with the President of Serbia tomorrow about the mandate for the composition of the new government.

He added that SNS will come to Vučić with several names for the Prime Minister-Designate.
Vucevic told K1 television that a delegation of eight members will participate in the consultations on behalf of the SNS list - five from the SNS and three representatives of the coalition partners.
"Our position is that we should go to the election of a new government, that we should make an extra effort to elect a new government by April 18. It should be done a day before, because the new Prime Minister-designate must hold consultations on the composition of the new cabinet, and then it must be confirmed by the party authorities. We will go to consultations tomorrow with a proposal to form a new government and we will come with several names of PM-designate," Vučević announced.
He pointed out that they will come to hear the president and see the concept of the new government, because, as he stated, it is not only a technical-technological process and it is not only about deadlines, but it is about what is the essence of that government and what it should do in the coming period.
I think there will be big changes in the government and not only in the position of the prime minister - both in the government and in depth, from state secretaries to directors of public companies. I think there will be big surprises, maybe there will be a big surprise pertaining to the Prime Minister designate, said Vučević.
He indicated that he believes that there should be many new people in the new government.
"With my resignation, bearing in mind all the circumstances in which we have been for five months, in-depth changes are needed in order to try to reach a social dialogue. That would be one of the conclusions of what the government must do," added Vucevic.
He stated that he would not have created such a large government and assessed that a smaller cabinet could have been more efficient and operational.
Vucevic explained that the representative chooses his team, but that he does not do it alone, but in discussion with the party, coalition partners and the president.
You have to accept some compromise solutions, because the coalition partners and some people in the party have their own views, he added.
He pointed out that there is a possibility to object to some personal decisions and that this happened when he formed the government.
Vucevic said that, even if this situation had not existed in the country, there would have been a reconstruction of the government.
That reconstruction would have happened exactly in this period. Approaching the anniversary of the election of the government on May 2, we would go for reconstruction, deep and large. It is not always a question of a personal solution, one should insist on reconstruction of the politics, Vučević pointed out.
