Speaking in Vienna on Tuesday, Serbia's foreign minister and OSCE chairperson-in-office "called on international bodies to work on their protection together."

Although every conflict and crisis is different, journalists and freedom of reporting are always among the first victims, Dacic said during the second day of the conference staged by OSCE.

He said that the discouraging fact that over 60 journalists from the territory of OSCE member countries were murdered in 2014 constitutes a serious reason for concern.

Unfortunately, we faced this problem in Serbia in the '90s, Dacic said and recalled that the Serbian government backed the work of the Commission in charge of cases of murder of journalists at the conference on protection of journalists in Belgrade in March 2015.

Dacic said that the conflict in Ukraine led to aggravation of tensions in the entire world, from Vladivostok to Vancouver, adding that Serbia advocates a dialogue and a peaceful solution to the Ukraine crisis and in order to prevent this, we need objective and unbiased information delivery.
