EULEX: Reinforced presence in Kosovo

Through a strengthened presence in the northern part of Kosovo, in coordination with the Kosovo Police and KFOR, EULEX is trying to calm the local population, EULEX announced.

As stated by EULEX, it is important that all people from all communities are safe and feel safe.

At the same time, EULEX stated that, depending on the development of events on the ground, a further increase in the number of members of the EULEX specialized police unit on the ground cannot be ruled out.

They added that they have already significantly reinforced the mobile surveillance patrols of the EULEX Special Police Unit (SPU), in coordination with the Kosovo Police and KFOR.
