Serbia, RS discuss Hague cooperation

Serbia and the Republic of Srpska officials in charge of implementing Hague cooperation action plans met Tuesday.

Chairman of the National Council for Cooperation with the Tribunal Rasim Ljajić, RS Interior Minister Stanislav Ćađo, and Jovan Spajić, Director of the RS Secretariat for Relations with the ICTY met in Belgrade to address the Hague cooperation issue.

They agreed that achieving full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal was the absolute priority for the Serbian and Republic of Srpska governments, stressing the necessity for regional collaboration aimed at locating and extraditing the remaining indictees, the government said on its web site.

In this sense they agreed to continue with joint meetings, exchange of experiences and information, and coordination of joint activities.
