The investigation and the arrest were carried out within a big operation against organized crime, smuggling of goods, tax evasion, fraud, evasion of import duties and money laundering.
The case was investigated by EULEX's prosecutor from the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office.
According to the Priština-based KTV, the captured people are associates of Zvonko Veselinović, a businessman from Kosovska Mitrovica.
Veselinović and his brother Žarko were arrested at Mount Kopaonik in central Serbia in mid-December, on charges of illicit production and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials.
KFOR believes Veselinović was the organizer of last summer's clashes at the administrative crossing of Jarinje.
You must be seriously dillusional..because if you think Serbs are just going to concede with losing their province of Kosovo and Metohija, you need to go and commentate on something else, like sports..or the stock market. Nothing is ever done. And esp in this case where Serb territory did not get recognized by even half the countries in the world. Dream on.. you must be an albo troll with high hopes. Things are not as pretty as they once were. Serbs did lose a lot, but they will not lose more. i promise you that.

And no, Milosevic did not withdrew because he wanted it. He did it because he knew that the Serbian army was incapable to stop the Croatian advance. Commentator that fake Serb Republic in Croatia like the other in Bosnia Slobodan Milošević never withdrew. Before operation storm the fake Serb Krajina Republic requested men and more weapons. Serbia sent 4,000 chetniks Šešelj and Arkans criminals also Serbia sent their best 1,000 men commando army battalion with officers and a general to Croatia to bolster the rebel Serb army in Croatia. When the war of liberation started Serbia's "hero's" turned tail and ran pushing the Serb refugees off the roads in to ditches. Running over Serb civilian transports and belongings in their panic of the Croatian army. Yore rite Serbs did join their Croatian neighbours in defending their homes from the chetnik/communist Greater warmongering criminal Serbia Belgrade army like in Vukovar and lot of other places as you can read it for your self [link] .

I dont fully disagree, but your bottom line is incorrect. Serbs were put in a situation of no negotiation this time around.

This is an utter lie. Belgrade had plenty of opportunities to negotiate regarding Kosovo. The most prominent one was when Milosevic refused to even talk about Kosovo during Dayton negotiations, while there was even a Albanian leader who was fighting with purely peaceful mean, Ibrahim Rugova. After the devastation of whole landscapes in 1998/99 it is was clear that there will be no going back, though there were even talks, but of course in reflection to those events. It was simply to late (for the Serbian cause).
Just as I mentioned it before. Serbs started to "negotiate" or better "understand" once it is way to late. Nobody will turn back the time. It is anyway useless to whine about those lost territories. Rather try to improve living standards, because that you can change. The rest is gone, forever. Live with it..

I dont fully disagree, but your bottom line is incorrect. Serbs were put in a situation of no negotiation this time around. And when the UN resolution was established, they fully thought that they would have right to its territory. Serbia has even said let's talk, these albo trolls are in over their head. And its not even fair to compare Croatian situation to Kosovo and Metohija's. And the fake criminal trolls in Kosovo right now are just ruining things more and more , and are all proven drug lords and traffickers.
@wes clark.. you are dillusional. the only was the KPS goes anywhere, is if they literally hold hands with someone wearing a EULEX patch. give me a break.. you are hilarious. They can arrest whomever they wish. They are trying to intimidate and do what they can..as they are more than ever trying to spark a war due to Nikolic's strong stance. I hope he and Putin had a nice talk.. as this is not over. I pray to see all you albo trolls running for the hills again.. there is a lot at play here. But in the meanwhile, please dont humor me with the kps..they have never made a move on their own.

interesting. let us say it is true, your analysis (of course it isn't but i'll leave it that for now). are you aware the EULEX has executive powers in Kosova? so if any of that stuff you wrote is true, blame the EU, becasue they're in charge

I remember very well when Serbian militias all over the Kraina were popping up with arms from the VS, blocking roads and expelling Croats. In the end, the storm (literally) destroyed them. And no, Milosevic did not withdrew because he wanted it. He did it because he knew that the Serbian army was incapable to stop the Croatian advance. Operation Bljesak showed that examplary. The oluja would have been a success no matter what Serbs would have done. You chose to run for your life. Tragically for Serbs was that they would not have faced the oluja if they would have not done the atrocities all over Croatia. I remember that my Serbian neighbor in Rijeka lived there before and after the oluja. Why? Because he did not do anything wrong and has nothing to do with idiots in Knin, Pale or Belgrade. Of course, that applies to many Serbs, in the Kraina too, but they have to raise the question to their nationalistic leaders who were leading them into their own demise. I'm absolutely sure that, nowadays, they would accept the plan Tudjman offered them before they oluja. But it would not be the first time that Serbs see only retrospectively how stupid they were. In Kosovo, you repeat those mistakes. Again blockading, again arming, again mindlessly spitting nationalist rhetorics. It did not work in the past, it won't in the future. Just watch and see..

I'll keep it simple. Each and every criminal in the north is going down! Did you notice that it was EULEX AND customs police? Customs police is KPS. Serb trolls glibly say "wheres the law and order?"... Its on the way! They locked up this bald fool(mafia king).. Now they are tearing apart his network limb from limb. Pretty soon there will be no more money in the north. Pristina is smart in that they are starving the beast. No money = no parallel institutions, no control, no resistence. The criminal mafia is who provides the logistics for the protesting and resistence. Not anymore. This year is a new phase. KPS and EULEX never used to arrest anyone before the border crossings were taken over. Now, they arrest with impunity. Enjoy the headlines! I know I am!

Northern part of Kosovo is the only part in Europe where law doesn't apply.
(Jim, 30 May 2012 14:36)
Of course except for Southern Kosovo, where mafia is flourishing under the influence and eye of the authorities, where local drug clans rule the regions without being bothered by police and made Kosovo Europe's main drug hub, where even murders and other criminals from neighboring countries find a safe place to stay, where the law is very flexible and selectively interpreted.

Your comment shows your utter lack of knowledge of the conflict in Krajina. It worked out very well actually while the war was going on, where Serbs were able to protect themselves from violent Ustase gangs, had villagers not had weapons they would have been slaughtered in many places. The Krajina conflict was lost because of Milosevic's private deal with Tudjman, you trying to blame the loss of that conflict on the fact that Serbian villagers were armed is completely false, you clearly know very little and should refrain from trying to make empty arguments in the future.
Kosovo Serbs need to be armed from albanian terrorists which attack them often, albanians only know how to fight the unarmed, they have no bollocks when it comes to fighting like men.
(SCP UK, 30 May 2012 15:16)
I think northern part of Kosovo has becoma oasis for organised crime. Government of Serbia continue to send there the most problematic persons of Serbia. Northern part of Kosovo is the only part in Europe where law doesn't apply.
