The self-proclaimed state of Kosovo has failed to become a member of Interpol in two rounds of voting on Tuesday, at the General Assembly held in Dubai.

I’m sorry to say this is a huge set back, especially for the US which was using all its influence, diplomatica and financial, to get Kosovo into Interpol. This is a tremendous setback for Washington and shows clearly how far the west has lost both influence and power in the world. Things are not going to improve from hereon, just going to get harder and worse for Kosovo.
The alleged “dam” will not break but it will push you Albos to the brink and keep you there. Albos have nothing on Serbia to “keep up the maximum pressure”. Serbia allows Brussels to deal with their Albos just like the tariff issue – its Brussels that’s dealing with it. What is amazing Albos see this new imposition on goods from Serbia as win???? Hey boys its your bros that pay more for food not Serbia. Serbia gets the same either way but its your Albo that pays more at the checkout LOL.
One more thing it was Serbia that signed the Brussels Agreement and that allows Kosovo to participate in world sports. In the UK, Wales and Scotland field their own teams, big deal.

The first round of votes has 154 members voting. The second round had 135.
I like how during the break 19 members, including 8 "yes" members, just walked out and didn't bother to come back for the second vote. So much for Kosovo's alleged international solidarity.

Serbs patch one hole with a band aid, then another leak forms. Best thing about coming where the Kosovars came from which is injustice perpetrated by Serbs, stripped of freedom, stripped of their futures is you can only go up! This is just a minor setback. It was fun watching Serbs squirm under the concern Serbs will have warrants out for their arrest by Albanians. Kosovars are doing quite well. Their strategy is to throw as much shit at the Serbs and several will stick such as tariffs, controlling serb government officials movements into Kosova, declaring an army and forming one etc. 5 attempts and 2 or 3 work that’s success, add hundreds to that and that is progress. Kosovars have all the time in the world. Serbs lose more and more as time goes by and Kosovars gain more and more. To deny that is to deny reality. Kosova competes in world soccer and Serbs said it would never happen. Kosovars competed in Judo and Serbs said it would never happen. Serbs are blind and I am not Jesus, I can’t make you see.

Oh, no! The vote is invalid because it wasn't democratic, merciful and humanitarian. A vote can be democratic, merciful and humanitarian only if it is based on AK-47 terrorist support from Drenica KLA drug and prostitution clan.

And that the number in favor actually decreased after the proposed "break out" session tried to lobby the nay voters makes it all the more delightful.
Would have been better had Serbia's bid to nix the vote been accepted in order to save Kosovo the embarrassment of the vote.

I think you referring to the president of the assembly. The president of Interpol is actually in a jail in China. He (a Chinese) was arrested a few weeks ago in China. Nobody actually knows where he is. He "resigned" by email I think.
The Interpol assembly will also chose a new president of Interpol if I am not mistaken and a high ranking bureaucrat of the Russian interior ministry is making a big chance to get elected.
This all and what went on with the vote does not really promote confidence in this agency.

A 2/3 majority is needed. There are 192 member countries but apparently only around 154/5 countries voted (because the others were not present??). For the vote to pass, it would have needed around 102 votes in the case of the ones that were present to vote and in the case of total members, a 128. The pro vote did not make it by a long shot. The tactics deployed were rather questionable. They would have needed at least half of the no voters and some abstainers of the first round to get out of the session for the second vote to be successful.

Having that break before the revote worked against them, LOL! With the number of recognitions reducing, I really don't see how "Kosova"*** will join although it already has a liaison through UNMIK. It's just a waste of time and embarrasses the Albanians.

Kosovo je priznata država i to je gotov proces,u međunarodne organizacije će ući kada tad. Srbija samo sebi pravi dodatne neprijatelje iako ih več ima poprilično,a Kosovo za to vrijeme zadaje udarac za udarcem planski i sigurno.Zadnji udarac je carina na srpsku robu koja će skupo koštati srbiju,pa sada nema robe ako ne piše Republika Kosovo što je potpuno legitimno. Srbija će izubiti dobar dio tržišta, i trošiti snagu i resurse. Zato ne treba likovati jer za par dana stiže vojska Kosova pa ,ko zna što sljedeće.
