Neither of each has even native Albanian or Vlachovian name! (Kosovo is from blackbird, Transylvania's name even in Serbian is "Erdelj" which means "forest").
Ask Romanians or Albanians what Kosovo or Erdelj mean, they are confused.
But IMO, not a single Serb or Hungarian wants to claim Kastoria. It's theirs.

I still can't understand why a good portion of Macedonians (mostly politicians) are trying to get into bed with the only Third World Country (Albania) in Europe.

Sam, I did move, to the suburbs of Detroit. And if I decided to move back, I would move to Serbia, I have more family there.

I'm from northern Macedonia, not a chance do I identify myself as being Bulgarian. As far as I'm concerned, it should be given its old name back..... Sothern Serbia, the only nationality I identify with!!!!

I say FYROM should change everything they named after Alexander & Phillip to Josip Broz Tito. He created their modern identity. Before 1945, nobody there claimed they were the descendants of ancient Macedonians, and the majority of people there declared themselves as Serbs. In fact, they are some of the oldest Serbs. After all, Skoplje was even the capital of the Serbian Empire! [link]
