Kosovo govt. to appoint administrative office head

The Kosovo government will appoint a head of the Administrative Office for the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica on Wednesday, Beta news agency has learnt. The office head will be responsible for the organization and functioning of the office that has been formed after the Kosovo government made a decision. The Administrative Office for the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica head will have the same authority as a mayor. The Serbian government sees the opening of the office as a provocation. The office will be in charge of providing services to citizens and coordinating activities and investments in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica. The office will have 80 employees and its budget will amount to EUR 4mn and it will be used for basic community services and infrastructure projects in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.
