N. Kosovo Serbs organize protest ride

N. Kosovo business community members organized a protest ride against establishment of Kosovo customs at the Brnjak and Jarinje administrative checkpoints. Carrying Serbian flags and banners saying “We don’t want customs” and “We are not criminals, we are businesspeople”, the protesters on Saturday crossed the Brnjak administrative crossing, turned their vehicles around and went back to the territory of Kosovo. There were no incidents. N. The members of the northern Kosovo business community joined the local Serbs who are blocking the Kosovska Mitrovica-Ribarice road as a response to EULEX and KFOR’s attempt to arrest a young Serb. “We will stay here until the problem is solved. The arrest clearly shows that persecution and harassment of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija is not stopping, in order to complete the independent state of Kosovo. Kosovo Chamber of Commerce President Vukoje Vukojević told reporters at a barricade in the village of Zupče that the local businesspeople had achieved their goal which was to peacefully express their dissatisfaction.

The members of the northern Kosovo business community joined the local Serbs who are blocking the Kosovska Mitrovica-Ribariće road as a response to EULEX and KFOR’s attempt to arrest a young Serb.
