A group of Roma clashed with a smaller group of Serbs in Leskovac last night over a garbage container. Several people were injured in the fight. Some said that the problem with the lack of garbage containers in that part of Leskovac had existed for some time now, and that matters had come to a head last night. About ten people were remanded into custody after the fight and charges were pressed against two Roma and two Serb citizens. Both the participators and the police denied that the fight had been ethnically motivated.
