BELGRADE EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule's Spokesman Peter Stano says Fule will not be a new facilitator in the Belgrade-Pristina negotiations. "That simply is not true," Stano stressed. Spokesman: Fule will not be new mediator in dialogue Daily Blic reported on Sunday that Fule would most likely replace EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. “EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton is finished with her role as a mediator in the Belgrade-Pristina negotiations,” the daily reported earlier on Sunday, quoting diplomatic sources that added that Fule would probably take her place. Serbia’s Prime Minister Ivica Dacic told daily Danas that Belgrade would continue the talks with Pristina without a mediator if necessary because there was no other way to solve the Kosovo issue. Daily Blic reported on Sunday that Fule would most likely replace EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton in the Belgrade-Priština dialogue.

“EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton is finished with her role as a mediator in the Belgrade-Priština negotiations,” the daily reported earlier on Sunday, quoting diplomatic sources that added that Fule would probably take her place.

Serbia’s Prime Minister Ivica Dačić told daily Danas that Belgrade would continue the talks with Priština without a mediator if necessary because there was no other way to solve the Kosovo issue.
