BELGRADE Serbia's future PM Ivica Dacic on Friday in Belgrade met with the leader of the Social-Democratic Party of Serbia (SDPS), Rasim Ljajic. Dacic and Ljajic - both members of Serbia's outgoing government - discussed "possible cooperation" in the new cabinet, B92 has learned. SDPS leader "officially invited to join cabinet" Dacic informed Ljajic about his future government's program, and invited him to join. However, there was no mention of the ministry Ljajic could head if he accepted the offer. During the meeting today, the SDPS leader reiterated that his party could join in the new cabinet "only after an agreement with the Democratic Party (DS)" - considering that he ran on the DS ticket in the May elections. Ljajic is set to, at some point during the next two days, meet with DS leader Boris Tadic to discuss the offer he received on Friday.. A pre-election coalition agreement between the SDPS and the DS means that Ljajic's party has seven seats in Serbia's new parliament.. There has been speculation that Ljajic may be offered the foreign ministry portfolio - which is otherwise supposed to go to the Serb Progressives (SNS). Serbia is expected to get a new government by the end of this month. It will be led by the SNS-SPS-URS coalition. Together again?
