Boris Tadic said on Saturday that threats of protests over alleged election irregularities actually represented a call for the country's destabilization. The Democratic Party (DS)-led coalition’s presidential candidate added that such actions would diminish chances for attracting investments and creating new jobs. Calls for protests can destabilize Serbia, Tadic says "Everyone has to be responsible for their deeds and the safety of the people. I call for peace. It's right and proper that all institutions do their jobs and verify election results, and participants in the elections should contribute to a stable situation and good atmosphere," Tadic told the press while visiting telecommunications company Telenor Srbija. Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) stated on Saturday that it would stage protests over the alleged election fraud. Boris Tadic (Beta, file) Tanjug
