Milosevic has not been exonerated from guilt - Hague source

"During the Radovan Karadzic trial, not enough evidence was found to prove that Slobodan Milosevic agreed to his (Karadzic's) plan, but it was found that he put arms and equipment at the disposal of the Bosnian Serbs," the source has asserted.

The source also said that when it comes to Milosevic and the Karadzic case, the Hague Tribunal "did not investigate Milosevic's guilt."

"Milosevic has not been indicted in the Karadzic case. However, this has no bearing on the status of his case, and his own criminal responsibility," the spokesperson said, when queried by the newspaper.

The article then concluded that the source in this way "refuted the statements made by Serbian FM Ivica Dacic" that the West was silent about the exoneration of Milosevic from accusations that he was guilty of war crimes and ethnic cleansing.
