IM: Elections in Kosovo not disputable

Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic has said that the Serbian parliament speaker has called the elections in Kosovo and that “the discussion is over”. He said that there had been pressures from the international community not to call the elections in Kosovo. So far the elections have been held for 12-13 years and I don’t know why they would be disputable now,” Dacic explained. Commenting on European Parliament (EP) Rapporteur for Serbia Jelko Kacin’s statement that it would be a problem if Serbia held the elections in Kosovo, the interior minister noted that this was not a question Kacin should answer. “Our state is not going to ask anyone from the outside whether it should call the elections or not.
