Following the resignation of Fatmir Sejdiu Albanian language media are reporting there would be a postponement of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue until. Pristina media expect dialogue postponement Kosovo Albanian Deputy PM Hajredin Kuci said in a statement published by Koha Ditore that “institutions need to be filled” before talks with Belgrade open, primarily implying that a new president has to be elected. “We need institutional stability more than the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. We believe that institutions need to be filled and democratic legitimacy achieved,” said Kuci, who is also the Vice-President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (DPK), the bigger member of the ruling coalition in Pristina. Quoting its unidentified source within the DPK, Koha Ditore wrote that "early parliamentary elections" in Kosovo are an unavoidable option due to the deteriorating relations within the ruling coalition. According to Zeri, the situation within the ruling coalition in Pristina has raised concern among international circles, which is why, the daily claims, representatives of the United States of America, France, Italy, Germany and Great Britain held meetings with top-ranking political officials of the Kosovo Albanians aimed at avoiding an "institutional crisis".
