Tender for hydroelectric plant restoration

The tender includes analyse of the current equipment, removing the equipment and preparing transport to the factory in order for four turbo-generators and more equipment to be mounted and assembled.

The tender is being financed by Serbian Electric (EPS) and loans made by the German Development Bank.

EPS earlier announced that the renovation would cost 50 million euros, 30 million of which will be secured through loans from the German bank, while the rest will be secured by EPS.

The strength of the plant’s production should increase from 92 to 100 megawatts, which means that the total power of the electric plan will be 40 megawatts greater.

The restoration of the first of four generators is expected to start in the fall of 2009.
