Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will pay a working visit to Brussels on Wednesday and Thursday, said reports. There he will participate in a regular session of the European Commission (EC), and talk with Presidents of the EC and European Council Jose Manuel Barroso and Herman Van Rompuy, the press office of the Russian government announced. Russian PM Putin in Brussels According to Russian news agencies, summit’s focal points will be the new basic agreement between Russia and the EU, Russian accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), economic cooperation projects and realization of mutual initiative Partnership for Modernization. It was announced last week from the EC headquarters in Brussels that Putin and his ministers will meet with Barroso and European commissioners on February 24.
