The biggest cities in Serbia will organize outdoor New Year’s Eve celebrations for their citizens. However, mostly local bands and musicians will entertain the citizens due to difficult financial situation. Cities prepare New Year’s celebrations About 150,000 foreign tourists are expected to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Belgrade. Traditionally, the majority of tourists will come from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Macedonia. The New Year’s Eve celebration in Belgrade will be held in front of the Serbian parliament. Bajaga i instruktori, Partibrejkers, Kiki Lesendric i “Piloti” will perform at the traditional open air celebration. Organizers have also prepared midnight fireworks. Van Gogh and several local bands will perform in Novi Sad, while Atomsko skloniste band will hold a free concert for the citizens of earthquake-hit town of Kraljevo. (FoNet, file)
