Boat restaurant burns down

Boat restaurant Stenka, moored near the Belgrade Fair on the Sava River, burned down completely in a fire early this morning. There were no casualties in the accident. A married couple who live on the boat heard an explosion and by the time they got outside, the boat was already engulfed in flames. “We were sleeping on the boat. I heard a shot, a horrible shot. It was not a gas bottle,” said one of the eyewitnesses. A janitor, who was also on the boat, alerted the firefighters soon afterwards. One of the owners, Leposava Blasko, said she could not guess what caused the fire but that she did not believe it was “human factor”. There were no casualties but material damage was significant, according to initial estimates.
