B92 has learned that popular musician Goran Bregovic sustained serious injuries when he fell from a tree this afternoon. The accident happened in the yard of his Senjak, Belgrade, home. The cherry tree that he climbed is reportedly four meters tall. Bregovic seriously injured after fall The Clinical Center's Emergency Ward Chief of Surgery Vladimir Djukic told B92 that his doctors are treating Bregovic, who has serious, but not life-threatening spinal injuries. Bregovic is a veteran Bosnia-born musician, who has claimed international recognition for his Balkans-inspired musical style.
