William Kwambai Kipchumba of Kenya is the winner of today's 21st International Belgrade Marathon in the male competition. Belorussian Natalia Chetkina won the female race. Kipchumba, Chetkina win Belgrade Marathon The Kenyan athlete finished the race in 2 hours, 14 minutes and 03 seconds. Both winner have also collected awards of EUR 5,000. "I had no problems during the race. On the 36th kilometer, I pulled away, and I could see that I was winning. The weather conditions were good," Kipchumba said after the race. Chetkina also said she was satisfied with the Belgrade event. "In the first part, the wind was very strong, while in the second, it suddenly became warm, so the weather slowed me down and kept me from achieving a better result," the Russian runner told reporters. Serbia's Olivera Jeftic ran the half marathon to finish in 1 hour, 11 minutes and 41 seconds, improving the record of that track by 54 seconds.
