Fourth consignment of Russian aid

The fourth and final consignment of Russian aid for the Kosovo Serbs has left Moscow and is headed for Belgrade. The Russian Emergency Situation and Civil Defense Ministry has sent an aircraft carrying 40 tons of food and medical products to Belgrade. Fourth consignment of Russian aid The humanitarian aid approved by President Vladimir Putin began to arrive on April 2, and since then 160 tons of aid has been delivered to Belgrade, for further transportation to Serb enclaves in Kosovo. Forty tons were sent on April 2, 4 and 8 to Belgrade, mostly comprising canned meat and fish products, children’s food, rice, sugar, and medical and sanitary equipment, worth close to EUR 1.7mn. The Russian aid will be transported from Belgrade to Zvecan, where it will be further distributed to the enclaves in central and southern Kosovo. According to the Serbian government, the aid will help more than 8000 Kosovo Serb families.
