Interior Minister Dragan Jočić says the weapons were found in several locations in Novi Pazar, Tutin and Sjenica.

Sandžak: Police confiscate large weapons cache

Jočić told Beta Monday that the raid started this morning and was conducted in the presence of court officials.

He added the police action continued, as well as that the region in question was the same that housed a Wahhabi training camp discovered in March.

Jočić told the agency the weapons in question came from Kosovo.

“We believe they were bought in Vučitrn and Peć. This is the information police obtained from the three Wahhabis arrested recently,” Jočić said.

He added a large amount of food was also found on the same locations.

Jočić explained that the raid was conducted based on intelligence gathered by the Serbian police (MUP) anti-terrorism department.
