Serb Republic (RS) President Milorad Dodik has said that he expected this Serb entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia to cooperate "in the best possible way". Speaking in Belgrade late on Sunday, Dodik referred in his comments to the period after a new government had been set up in Belgrade. Dodik expects "closest cooperation with Serbia" "We expect the best possible cooperation within what is considered a special relationship (between Serbia and the RS), and hope that soon after the forming of the new government (of Serbia) we will have a new council made up of prime ministers and heads of state in Banja Luka, where the next sitting should be held," Dodik said. He added that a new plan and program of cooperation will be conceived at the meeting of the Council for cooperation between the RS and Serbia. Asked whether he expects the cooperation between the RS and Serbia to be blocked in a way, since the Democratic Party he had supported during the election campaign has not joined the government, Dodik pointed out that RS's primary concern is cooperation with institutions. "A coalition has been formed, but that this does not mean we should have delays in the RS-Serbia cooperation," he stressed. Dodik also pointed out that he has been cooperating for years with Ivica Dacic, who has been given the mandate to form the new Serbian government, and added that he and his party have done a lot for the RS, as well as other parties that will make up a majority.
