Croatian police have arrested a hooligan suspected of seriously injuring a police officer at a recent football match. According to Croatian media, the attacker is a 20 year-old Croatian citizens who was born in Montenegro, Nikica Marovic. Croatian police arrest hooligan attacker Fighting erupted between hooligans and police at last week’s football match between rivals Dinamo and Hajduk. Nineteen police officers were hurt in the incident. One police officer lost an eye when a pyrotechnic exploded near his face. Police believe that Marovic threw the device. Some hooligans were also hurt in the scuffle, and one was wounded by a gunshot fired by police during the conflict.
