Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic says she sees the upcoming visit of President Aleksandar Vucic to Sarajevo as "a visit to the future".

"Serbia is stable in every sense, and can provide that stability to other countries in the region," Mihajlovic said.She added that it was "necessary to talk about better life and show a clear message that everyone wants to live better and that we want to connect and that the whole region is progressing."
"The visit is a step towards connecting better, infrastructurally and politically, the topics will be investments, infrastructure, we will soon have the Ljubovija-Bratunac bridge and a border crossing, we started the talks on the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway at the proposal of President Vucic. We are a country which is open and wants to talk," Mihajlovic said.
She pointed out that it was "important that the whole region connects and develops, not only Serbia" and that "everything is ready for the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway as far as Serbia is concerned, whereas an internal agreement must be reached in Bosnia-Herzegovina about the route of the highway."
"Roads are above any politics, they are important for every citizen," said Mihajlovic.
Asked whether the fact that Bosnia-Herzegovina is the only country that did not sign the contract on the Transport Community would be an obstacle to cooperation with Serbia, Mihajlovic said that this was not an obstacle - "because Serbia wants to connect with everyone and take the opportunity to develop as the center of the Transport Community."
