Second day of EBRD conference under way
The second day of the EBRD General Assembly conference in Zagreb has begun with the final meeting of governors from participating parties behind closed doors.

The second day of the EBRD General Assembly conference in Zagreb has begun with the final meeting of governors from participating parties behind closed doors. Serbian Finance Minister Diana Dragutinovic is participating in the talks. Second day of EBRD conference under way EBRD President Thomas Mirow and the bank’s chief economist Erik Berglof will be giving the EBRD's economic prognosis in countries in which the EBRD is working at a press conference later in the day. The discussions, in which ministers, bankers, state officials, and financial experts will participate, will include discussions of financial recovery and methods of getting out of the economic crisis. One stance is that countries of Central and Eastern Europe must turn towards domestic, not foreign loans, and develop local markets of capital, because they are the foundation of a healthy financial system and fast recovery. Accompanying Dragutinovic in the Serbian delegation are Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic, Economy and Regional Development Ministry State Secretary Dragijana Radonjic-Petrovic, Deputy Energy and Mining Minister Dejan Stojadinovic, and Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas.
