Serbia should avoid the dilemma of having to choose between Kosovo and the European Union, political analyst Predrag Simic said. Great debate was sparked in parliament over the last several days after the statement of Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, who said that Serbia would pick Kosovo over the European Union if it had to choose. “Kosovo or EU” dilemma must be avoided Simic, who is a former ambassador to France, said that Belgrade needs to find a constructive solution for relations with Kosovo, while at the same time respecting the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity.
