“Army won't act without KFOR request”

Dragan Sutanovac says that the Serbian Army (VS) will only conduct operations in Kosovo if asked by KFOR. The army “will not carry out any operation in Kosovo, unless there is a call from KFOR,” the defense minister said. “Army won't act without KFOR request” “According to the Resolution (1244 of the UN Security Council), we cannot enter Kosovo without KFOR's request, and I expect KFOR to be effective enough to prevent any kind of destabilization,” Sutanovac said. He told daily Blic that the chief interest of the international community, Serbs and Albanians alike was to make sure that there were no new conflicts in the province. “Personally, I believe that KFOR is a partner, regardless of the rhetoric against it in Serbia,” he said. Trade Minister: Serbia not preparing embargo

Predrag Bubalo says that Serbia is not preparing a trade embargo for Kosovo in the event of an independence declaration.
