Parliament discusses Nikolić dismissal
Nikolić said that he and prime minister Vojislav Koštunica had made an agreement regarding the speaker post.“According to the deal we had, I should be the Speaker since Vojislav Koštunica said he had no trust in Serbian president Boris Tadić,” Nikolić said adding that Koštunica knew Tadić would “sooner or later betray his country.”
When asked whether he felt deceived, Nikolić replied that "Koštunica was the one who should harbor that feeling as he managed to deceive Serbian people."
The DS, DSS and G17 Plus proposed Nikolić’s dismissal after they officially announced they had agreed on the new government on Friday
President Boris Tadić nominated Vojislav Koštunica for premiership office.
