Report: NIS to get new director?

The Serbian Oil Industry (NIS) general director will soon step down from the post, according to the energyobserver.com. The website reported Monday, citing unnamed sources close to the oil monopoly, that Srdjan Bosnjakovic was appointed to the NIS managing board as the new chairman. According to the website, the new NIS general director will most likely be someone from President Boris Tadic’s Democratic Party (DS). Bosnjakovic, member of Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica’s Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), neither declined nor confirmed the reports, stressing that he will "do everything the state thinks he should be doing."
